Logline

Newly stationed at the shield generator on Endor, Biker Scout TB-712 learns not to underestimate the enemy.

Synopsis

Taking place before, during, and after the Battle of Endor, this film follows the story of a scout trooper as he learns the hard way about the vicious warrior skills of the Ewoks. Presented in a flashback sequence inspired by a line from Return of the Jedi, the scout trooper and two other stormtroopers find the Ewoks to be quite tame and benign. But once the battle begins, their initial notions are thrown in grave doubt.

About the Project

This 5-minute, all-volunteer fan film was shot in July 2018 in Coupeville, WA, on Whidbey Island. It was made possible with the help of devoted cosplayers from several of the local branches of Star Wars costuming organizations, including the Garrison Titan branch of the 501st Legion, and the local Rebel Legion. Originally conceived to create new footage for an extended fan edit of Return of the Jedi, the narrative arc grew during its creation, to such an extent that it became its own self-contained story.
